Book Signing for “Rye’s Rite” Update #1

I’ve never done a book signing before, even when my first novel Rye’s Rite came out a few years ago. But the wait is over because I have planned two book signings within the coming months! Come and say hi and get your book autographed, hang out with me, and if you haven’t bought the book yet, grab a copy! The details for each visit are below:

Book Signing #1 (with refreshments): 

Location: Pioneer Book, 450 W Center St, Provo, UT 84601.

Date: May 11th

Time: Still deciding, probably in the early afternoon.

Book Signing #2:

Location: Barnes and Noble, 330 E 1300 S, Orem, UT 84058. 

Date: June 15th

Time: 2 PM - 4 PM (potentially will be longer).

As the dates get closer I’ll have more to post about them. I’m also working on custom bookmarks you can get for free. This is very exciting for me, and I hope to see you there!

Writing has been slow the last couple weeks, but my next novel Ghost Boyd is still progressing along. I feel like I have writer’s shame at the moment. Basically, I'm feeling bad because I haven’t written in a while. And I have had time to write, but I’m throwing it away to social media.The worst kind of writing sin.

Darn you Tik Tok. 

But a newer outline has helped know what to add to the book and keep me focused. I’m combining chapters because of how similar they are in terms of location. I’m also trying to make the characters deeper and give them motivation for what they are doing. The usual writing, things. I know the first draft is always the worst, but I’m trying to make it the best first draft it can be, if that makes sense.
